SMS based Seeding – through SMS
Voters can also link Aadhaar Card to Voter ID by Sending an SMS.
Link by sending the Aadhar number and Voter Card number SMS to 8790499899 in the following format.
SEEDEPIC [space] [EPIC No] [space] [Aadhar] — Example:- SEEDEPIC BYX1234557 1234 5678 9101
Call Center Seeding – through Toll free call
Make a Call to the Call Center for Linking Voter ID Card and Aadhaar Card Number :
Call the number 1950 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and provide the details. You aadhaar card and voter id card will be linked successfully
Mobile Seeding – Online through mobile( download app)
Linking using mobile APP available in app stores of Android and ioS or can be download from the web sites of Chief Electoral Officer.
Mobile seeding approach will allow to seed the Electorals against Aadhaar number through mobile by the executive using the mobile APP loaded on your mobile similar to portal.After capturing the required information through mobile application seeds the Aadhaar against EPIC Card number and updated on the portal automatically.
Portal Seeding/ Self Seeding (How To Link Voter ID With Aadhaar Card Online )
Linking of Voter ID card with Aadhaar card is started . Now you can Link Aadhaar card with Voter ID card online . You can seed the your voter id with Aadhaar using EPIC Aadhaar seeding portal . The procedure to link voter id card with aadhaar is explained below . Go through the steps and link your voter id card which helps to eliminate bogus voter id cards.
Steps to Link Voter ID card with Aadhaar Online :
Steps 1 : Visit EPIC Aadhaar Seeding portal by click the link . http://164.100.132.184/epic/SelfSeeding.jsp
Step 2 :You will be prompted to enter your Voter Id Number and Aadhaar number along with the mobile number . If you have multiple voter id cards select one card which you want to use for the life and enter that voter Id number .Enter your mobile number and press generate OTP .
Step 3 :On clicking Generate OTP you will receive sms to given mobile number consisting of 8 number transaction pin like 12345678 . You need enter that pin and click Validate .
Step 4 :On clicking validate you will your Aadhaar card and Voter id digital images side by side so that you can verify whether that is your card or not . If those the cards are correct then click the button seed which will be available below your digital images .
Step 5 :On successful completion of above all steps you will will be prompted with a message that your seeding has been done .Seed your Voter id with aadhaar and help Election commission to remove the bogus voters .
Checking the Aadhaar Card-Voter ID(EPIC) Link Status :
If you have successfully linked voter id and aadhaar card, you might want to check the status. The only method(right now) i found to verify this is that you need to do the same process again. And if aadhaar card and voter id have been linked successfully, you will get following notification:
Your request for associating Aadhaar number Electroral role was already registered and is under process
